Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of Wamaba (wamaba.com) and its apps, operated by Markarian Global, SL., CIF B71054407, dir@wamaba.com (“we”, “us”). By using Wamaba you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. The service

Wamaba lets you discover and listen to podcasts in Entertainment, Learning and Praying & Spirituality, save favorites, download episodes for offline listening and share reviews. Listening is free. We may add, change or remove features at any time.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 14 years old to create an account.
• Give accurate information and keep your password secret. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• Tell us straight away if you think someone else has accessed your account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• break the law or infringe anyone's rights, including copyright;
• post reviews that are abusive, hateful, sexually explicit, misleading or spam, or that reveal other people's personal information;
• try to access other accounts or our systems without permission, or interfere with the service's security or operation;
• use bots or automated tools to create accounts, sign in, scrape content or inflate play counts;
• resell, redistribute or publicly broadcast content from Wamaba.

4. Reviews and content you post

You keep ownership of the reviews you write. By posting one, you allow us to display, store and moderate it on Wamaba free of charge for as long as it stays published. Reviews are checked before they appear, and we may refuse or remove any review that breaks these terms. You can ask us to remove your reviews at any time.

5. Podcasts and intellectual property

Podcasts on Wamaba belong to their creators and rights holders. Where a show is published through its creator's own feed, it is streamed from that creator's hosting service. The Wamaba name, logo, design and software belong to us.

If you own the rights to content on Wamaba and believe it is being used without permission, contact us through the contact form, choosing “Podcast or copyright”, with details of the content and your rights. We will review the request promptly and remove content where appropriate.

6. Downloads

Downloaded episodes are for your personal, non-commercial listening on your own devices. They are stored on your device, and may stop being available if the episode is removed or you clear your browser or app data.

7. Availability

We work to keep Wamaba running smoothly but can't guarantee it will always be available or error-free. We may suspend the service for maintenance or security reasons.

8. Liability

Podcasts express the views of their creators, not ours, and are provided for information and entertainment. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for content created by third parties. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under applicable law, or our liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.

9. Suspension and closing your account

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. You can stop using Wamaba at any time and ask us to delete your account through the contact form.

10. Privacy

How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using Wamaba after a change, the updated terms apply.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the place where you live, and you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence.
